Rotaract Overseas Project Quiz
Rotaract in Great Britain and Ireland invites you to participate in a very special project that will bring together Rotary and Rotaract clubs from Britain and Ireland. During the week of 9-17 September 2006, take part in the multidistrict General Knowledge Quiz, run simultaneously in clubs all across Britain and Ireland.
50% of the profit raised from your quiz night will be donated to the Rotaract Overseas Project and the other 50% to a charity of your choice.
How to host an RGBI Quiz
We'll provide you with the questions, the publicity posters, support and advice, all you need to do is organise the venue and the people! Each club taking part will be provided with a table quiz pack, which contains:
- questions (and answers!)
- promotional posters
- score cards
- instructions
Each pack will also contain promotional pamphlets giving information on the role of Rotary and Rotaract clubs in the community. A round of questions will be based on the information contained in these pamphlets giving anyone new to Rotary or Rotaract every encouragement to read them and become involved!
Do you want to take part? To receive a table quiz pack all you need to do is to send an e-mail or letter to chair@rotaract.ie with the following contact information:
- The name of your club
- Your Contact Address and contact phone number
The Overseas Project is a collaboration between Rotarians and Rotaractors, who together go abroad and help construct valuable resources such as medical centres or classrooms for the communities they visit. Our goal is to raise all of the funds needed for the 2007 Rotaract Overseas Project, in one week.
