The 2008 Rotaract District Conference is taking place in Dublin at the Dublin International Hostel on the 19th and 20th of September with the theme..."Reach for the Stars....Make Dreams Real"

Building on last years success, the Rotaract Club of Galway added a further 550 members to their club last week - their membership total now 900! This is a marvellous success and congratulations to President Ed and his team for their trojan efforts.

Attentions are now turning of course to their annual fashion show which takes place on the 3rd of March 2008!

The Rotaract Club of Dublin North together with the Rotary Club of Dublin North are having an open membership evening on the 17th of September in the Marine Court Hotel in Sutton. All are welcome!!

This years Rotaract District Conference will take place on the 31st of August and the 1st of September! It'll be an action packed weekend and is not to be missed...including a service project which involves bringing books with you to donate to a library in egypt

District Governor 2006/2007 presents Presidential Citation to Galway Rotaract for Leading the Way

Dublin Central Rotary club are proud to annouce their mid-summer concert. Featuring 90 students from the String Orchestra Symphonic Wind Band and Choral Choir of Leiscester Grammar School conducted and led by David Whittle, Charles Paterson and Chris Jeans. The event will be held in the Artane School of Music, Artane, Dublin on Saturday July 14th at 7.30pm.

Thursday night was a great night for Rotaract in Ireland. It marked the celebration of two Rotaract clubs being chartered. Dublin City club and Dublin South clubs were officially chartered by Peter Offer of RIBI in the St. Stephens Green Hibernian Club in Dublin.

The new Dublin Rotaract club formed by Dublin, Dublin Central and Dublin Viking Rotary clubs had its second setup meeting this week in the Stephens Green Club.

Last year saw the hugely successful launch of Rotaract Galway. Rotaract Galway was launched officially with an Intro Night held in The King's Head in February 2006, and a week later our first event, a 5-aside Soccer Blitz in aid of Console Suicide Awareness, took place in NUIG Sports Hall.

Rotaract in Great Britain and Ireland invites you to participate in a very special project that will bring together Rotary and Rotaract clubs from Britain and Ireland. During the week of 9-17 September 2006, take part in the multidistrict General Knowledge Quiz, run simultaneously in clubs all across Britain and Ireland.

This event was postponed due to bad weather but was held Sunday 20th July courtesy of Niamh and her house. Lots of ice-cream was given away, lots of fun was had and the whole the ended at 4am!
